Maghrib prayer and reflection

  • Joint prayer: Establishing spiritual foundation for challenge
  • Refugee focus: Specific prayers for displaced families and couples
  • Marriage duas: Asking Allah to strengthen their bond through shared trial
  • Gratitude: Acknowledging blessings whilst preparing to understand hardship

Overnight challenge preparation

Following main blueprint approach:

  • Sleep in challenge clothes: Both spouses remain fully dressed overnight
  • Uncomfortable conditions: Sleeping on floor without pillows or blankets
  • Shared experience: Building solidarity with refugee couples facing displacement
  • Mental preparation: Using discomfort to prepare for next day’s trials
